REFLECTION PAPER

Experience is the teacher of all things

On the Job Training is a part of the curriculum we have to comply with in order to graduate that is my first impression about OJT. Some says it is an event where we, students are deployed to the field of the real business world in order for us to gain enough experience about how to work with other people. Back them i always thought that OJT is just a pain on our mind because of several requirements we should be preparing for us to be deployed. I think OJT is just another way for us to gather more data and to understand more about the agency we were in and the processes they make. Some of my thoughts about OJT may be right or wrong.

I really appreciate that we have this OJT because it really help me to understand what it really is having a job. I didn't experience it for real but seeing the personnel doing there job is learning for me. Observing them, how they deal with clients and to their co-workers. We did not find it hard working on BFP Daraga because of their approachable and friendly employees, sometimes we are pressured when they give us a task and we failed to to it. Those pressure surely give me difficulties before but on the other hand it also gave me enough confidence to work and to face more difficult task under pressure. The employees in the BFP always tell us to succeed in life and to do our best to get a decent job, some of them want us to join the bureau after we graduate. I learn a lot from them, they gave me ideas about what i may be doing in the future. They made me realize that about the other things outside the field of work. In the end i believe that OJT help us to build our fundamentals in order to face the next stage of our life.




Week 12

our last week in BFP
October 7
- we were preparing the requirement before finishing our OJT
October 8
- we ask mam Kristine to make us a certificate of completion 
October 9
- we were finishing our DTR to be sign by our supervisor 
October 10
- our last day we give the evaluation to the BFP personnel and nagpaalam na kami at nag thank you.

Week 11

September 29
- nakaleave si mam jackie kaya wala masyadong iniuutos samin 
September 30
 - preparing the system for the presentation to mam Maceda
October 1
 - the office has shortage in supply of the forms so we were ask to print 20 copies each
October 2
 - we teach the personnel how to edit the sites how to add pictures and menus
October 3
- same as yesterday


Week 10

September 22
- mejo magulo sa office nag aaway ang personnel tahimik lang sa galid
September 23
- tinatapos na and BFP site kasi madali na matapos OJT yehey
September 24
- hinihingi namin ang mga pictures na ilalagay sa site and tagal ibigay para matapos na....
September 25
- inutusan mgpaphoto copy sa jebson ang haba ng pila exam pa ung pinapaphoto copy nung nauna 
September 26
- tinutulungan namin mag ayos ng gamit si mam mitch kc lilipat na siya sa regional office

Week 9

September 15
- ang boring pag monday nagpapancit si sir kinahapunan
September 16
- i was ask to copy and encode all the form in Business occupancy wow it takes me 2 hours to finish one 
September 17
- still  encoding the forms
September 18
- same as yesterday
September 19
- after i finish encoding im having problems with the printing. napuputol ung form di ako masyado marunong sa excel panu to :(

Week 8

September 9
- walang masyandong ginagawa tambay lang sa office
September 10
- inutusan kaming magpaload ni sir joejie mejo nakakatakot lang kasi 500 load baka mamali ung pagtype ng number lagot
September 11
 - a new printer arrive i was ask to install the drivers and the printer to the computer
September 12
- the personnel ask us to network their printer

Week 7

September 1
 - nag leave ang asessor ng BFP di ko pa naman nagegets ung pag assess kelan kea un babalik. may hang over pa ako sa CS intramurals hehe. gaya ng dati search search sa net ng mga kailangan sa system
September 3
- may nag didiscuss  sa loob ng office ng BFP about sa foods and its side effects and herbal suppliments di kmi kasya sa office kea sa labas kami ngihintay ng client.
September 4
 - if theres a client we were ask to observe for us to know the flow of the process
September 5
- im copying some of the storage capacity fines in the Fire code

Week 6

August 18
-we finish 1 menu in BFP site and doing the 2nd menu
August 19
- encoding a letter for bfp client
- photocopying documents 
August 20
- we were ask to give the documents to the municipal office i forgot what office it is haha 
August 21
- i were ask to go to the regional office to give the monthly report
August 22
- researching on how to import excel file to mysql

Week 5

August 11
- still doing my strategic plan
August 12
- mam Jackie ask us to sort out the documents, lots of documents
August 13
- finalizing our manuscripts  
August 14
-fixing the DFD and ERD tomorrow is our defense


Week 5

August 4
- finally may koryente na we can now continue revising our manuscript and start our system
August 5
- were having problems in finding a free hosting site we spend the whole day just to find one
August 6
- downloading tutorials for word press
August 7
-inputting information to the BFP site 
August 8
-doing the strategic plan to be pass to sir balilo to complete my grades

Week 4

-its still brownout. same as last week....

Week 3 July 21-25

because of the brownout the only thing we do in the BFP office is to wait for the claents entertain them and clean the office for the whole week...

Day 5 July 18

After the typhoon. there still no electricity so wala kming ginagawa hehe bantay lang kmi sa office ng BFP

Day 4 July 14

we were ask to make a website for BFP daraga

Day 3 July 11

the day of our proposal defense. after our proposal defense we go to the BFP because of the result of our defense.

Day 2 July 10

im fixing our manuscript for out proposal defense adding some information and fixing the format and spacing

Day 1 July 9

Our first day of OJT we had conducted data gathering for the preparation for the proposal defense.
